• How long will the promotion rate last?

The Value Basic special will be $29.99 per month until 10/1/11.

• What is the standard rate for Value Basic after the promotion ends?

The standard rate is $49.99. If Value Basic is bundled with either Home Phone and/or TurboPower service, the rate is $39.99 after the $10 package discount is applied.

• Will I receive FREE HD?

Yes! You will be able to receive FREE HD if you have an HDTV with a QAM tuner. You will also have the option to rent a Digital, HD/DVR or TiVo box to access FREE HD channels. Additional equipment fees will apply for box rentals.

• Will I be able to subscribe to premium channels like HBO?

Yes. The standard rate for both the premium channel and any equipment required will apply.

• Can I get access to Pay-Per-View channels?

Yes. You simply need to sign up for a Digital or HD/DVR box. Equipment fees will apply.

• I’m a current video customer. Am I eligible for the Value Basic promo?

Current video customers are eligible for Value Basic if they add a new service. Therefore, current video-only subscribers would need to add either Home Phone or TurboPower Internet to receive the promotional rate.

• How many and what types of channels will be included in the Value Basic lineup?

The channel lineup will vary by system. It includes 35 to 40 channels (the exact number will vary by system). It includes a mix of the popular programming, sports, news, and at least one children’s channel, as well as all local channels. Please contact your local Northland office for a channel lineup.

• Is a contract required?

No.

• Can I get a Roku, TiVo or DVR with Value Basic?

Yes. Roku and TiVo require TurboPower Internet service and additional equipment fees will apply.
